‘Sandtable’, Hong Kong Pavilion London Design Biennale 2020+1, Jun 2022

In collaboration with HKDHnet, Trilingua, and K2 digital, the Sandtable is an interactive art installation aimed to explore the division between digital and physical realms, as well as geographical separations. The art installation uses sand(beach) as a metaphorical platform to echo with the maritime characteristics, colonial history, traditions, and geography of Hong Kong. Audiences in Hong Kong and London were connected via the algorithm-based projections on the walls, and could communicate with each other by writing on the Sandtable.
